My husband and I stumbled upon this little gem and I'm so glad we did. The food is delicious! I ordered the California burrito and my husband had the enchiladas. The tortilla on the burrito had a slight "toasting" which I loved. My husband is an enchilada connoisseur and he said they were the best he has had, he loved the sauce on the enchiladas. The portions were ample, the restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. I'm guessing the guy doing the cooking is the owner. He went out of his way to come out to our table and chat and he was funny and warm. We aren't in Cat City too often but next time we are we will be stopping by Tacos Del Valle.
Quality meats. The Cabeza was so good, melted in my mouth. So impressed with their meats and flavor!
If I could give more stars I would. We came in and were treated right away, cook/owner was honestly the nicest and the food was amazing. We kept talking about how fresh the food was and we can't wait to come back! Food was warm! Recommend 100%
My partner and I had lunch here, in search of the best birria tacos in the area. Look no further!!!! Delicious, tender birria, balanced with a bit of melted cheese and accompanied by three FABULOUS salsas. The owner came out to chat with us, a charming and exuberant young man. Try this place
Very clean little restaurant clean tables floors and the feeling you get from a clean place . Friendly and polite and inviting service The food very fresh hot and deliscious . I ordered the chicken loaded nachos without beans since they don't offer blk beans . Absolutely the best ever I've had anywhere a must try for others there chicken tacos are great too
My new favorite casual Mexican spot. The food was amazing, they have tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and a few other things. Everything tasted fresh and the tortillas and chips were homemade. The staff was super nice and the food came out really quick, would recommend to anyone looking for great tacos. 10/10
A great hole in the wall located in a Cat City mini mall that just happens to have the best Mexican comfort food in the area. The burritos are just out-freakin'-standing, with a great assortment of simple, tasty ingredients wrapped in a fresh tortilla. It's great, and I'd stack it favorably against anything in LA or SD. Very warm, friendly, and welcoming service as well. In short, if you're eating burritos anywhere else in town you're getting, at best, second place. Support local! Eat here and be happy!
This place is amazing! It's a hole in the wall type spot and all the employees are really nice. We got the pastor and asada tacos, both were really good. Almost didn't go here cuz they only had 6 reviews, but glad I did! Don't let the lack of yelp reviews fool you! We'll be back
A small restaurant, but totally worth ignoring the bright Taco Bell across the street for. What a treasure hidden in the middle of the desert. Frankly, you should go there just to make yourself feel better because the guy who runs the place is such a nice man and truly awesome and just getting to know the man is worth the trip. Obviously, the man's character must affect his food, because the tacos were awesome as well. Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos were downright delicious. There is an ATM in there, but this place takes credit cards. There is a bathroom here.
